Roma's loan approval puts Artem Dovbyk on Genoa's radar

Roma have granted Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk permission to pursue a loan move to Daniele De Rossi’s Genoa, with the Giallorossi club confirming openness to the deal as the player seeks regular football after months sidelined by injury, and as the club plans to part ways with him this summer.

He is currently evaluating his options to secure playing time, and one of the clubs he is considering is Genoa, owned by former Roma captain Daniele De Rossi. De Rossi previously coached Dovbyk during his stint at Roma. The former midfielder’s involvement adds a personal dimension to the potential move.

Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Roma, often called the Giallorossi, are receptive to a loan arrangement for Dovbyk. The club's openness suggests they prefer a temporary move over a permanent transfer this summer. Negotiations are expected to progress before the window closes.
