Paris FC's €7 million offer fuels training boycott at Auxerre

🇫🇷 By 4All Football Editorial ·

Paris FC have lodged a €7 million bid for 26‑year‑old centre‑forward Lassine Sinayoko of AJ Auxerre, prompting the Mali international to skip training as he pushes for a move away from the Ligue 1 side and signal his dissatisfaction with the club's handling of transfer offers.

Paris FC's pursuit reflects their desire to bolster attacking options. The forward attracted strong interest last summer from Ligue 1 clubs, notably RC Lens, as reported by Onze Mondial.

Auxerre have stuck to their valuation of €12 million, rejecting the €7 million offer that sits €5 million below their asking price. The club, whose contract with Sinayoko runs until next summer, says the mutual trust has been broken and has refused to train, a stance Foot Mercato says underscores his frustration.

Beyond Paris FC, interest has emerged from the Premier League. AS Monaco have also been mentioned as potential destinations, indicating broader market appetite for the striker.

For Paris FC, the shortfall may force a higher bid or a renegotiation. Auxerre risk losing Sinayoko on a free transfer next summer if they cannot reach an agreement; the training boycott further complicates the negotiation dynamics, Luke Entwistle of GFFN noted.
