Nu: Anderlecht says farewell as Nathan De Cat heads to Hoffenheim
Anderlecht officially confirms the departure of its prized 17‑year‑old talent, Nathan De Cat, who will join German side Hoffenheim for the 2024‑25 season, with the transfer fee reported at around twenty million euros and possible bonuses lifting it to twenty‑four million.
Anderlecht has officially said goodbye to its prized youngster, often referred to as the club’s ‘goudhaantje’. The 17‑year‑old forward, Nathan De Cat, will leave the Belgian side at the end of the season.
He will join the Duitse side Hoffenheim for the 2024‑25 campaign. Both clubs released a joint statement confirming the signing.
The transfer was announced on Friday by Anderlecht and Hoffenheim. De Duitsers disclosed a fee of roughly twenty million euros.
The Duitse club will pay approximately twenty million euros for the youngster. Performance‑related bonuses could raise the total to twenty‑four million euros.
