Milan open to letting forgotten Dutch talent Silvano Vos depart

🇳🇱 By 4All Football Editorial ·

AC Milan have signalled they are prepared to allow 21‑year‑old Dutch midfielder Silvano Vos to leave the club, after two seasons in Italy without making a first‑team appearance. The decision follows a period marked by injuries and a stalled progression from the under‑23 side.

Vos moved from Ajax to AC Milan in the summer of 2024, signing a five‑year contract at the San Siro. The transfer was presented as a step forward for the young Dutchman, who was expected to develop within Milan’s system.

The plan outlined that Vos would first earn minutes with Milan’s Under‑23 side before pushing for a place in the senior squad. Club officials saw the under‑23 platform as the bridge to first‑team football.

However, physical setbacks have prevented that progression. After two years, Vos has yet to make his debut for the senior side, and a lingering injury kept him out for the entire previous season, meaning he did not feature for a single minute.

Milan‑watcher Andrea Propato wrote on MilanVibes that the giant is now willing to cooperate on an exit for the midfielder. Earlier this summer, Vos was reportedly in talks with another club, but that potential deal ultimately collapsed.

During his time at Ajax, Vos appeared eleven times in the Eredivisie between 2022 and 2024. In the Keuken Kampioen Divisie he was a key figure for Jong Ajax, contributing significantly to the reserve side’s performances.
