Everton add attacking depth with free signing Noémie Mouchon

🇬🇧 By 4All Football Editorial ·

Everton have identified a need for fresh attacking depth ahead of the new season, and the free arrival of 23‑year‑old French forward Noémie Mouchon offers a direct answer, with the club confirming her signing as the Toffees’ first addition of the summer window.

The Toffees’ scouting emphasis on speed and goal‑scoring matches Mouchon’s profile, and the Merseysiders hope she will plug the gap left by departing forwards.

Everton confirmed that Mouchon joined on a free transfer, marking the club’s first signing of the summer window; she arrives from Leicester City following the Foxes’ relegation to the Barclays WSL2 at the end of last season, with the move announced on Everton’s official website this afternoon.

Mouchon spent two seasons with the Foxes, making 24 appearances across all competitions and scoring twice, gaining experience in English women’s football that familiarises her with the league’s physical demands.

Internationally, she has represented France at various youth levels, most recently the Under‑23 side, underscoring her technical pedigree and readiness to compete at the highest domestic level.

After completing the move, Mouchon said, “I feel really excited to start with the team and this new club. I am the type of player who can bring something on the pitch. I am a fast player and I love to score goals, so I can’t wait. I just want to score a lot with Everton. That’s my only objective.”

The acquisition coincides with Everton’s permanent signing of midfielder Zara Kramžar, the Slovenian international who arrived from AS Roma after a successful loan spell at Goodison Park and was secured on a permanent deal following her contributions in the second half of last season.

Now a Merseysider, Mouchon is ready to add depth to the attacking line and compete for a starting spot, with her speed and goal‑scoring ambition expected to enrich the English side’s forward options as the season approaches.
