Chelsea lock in future firepower with Beever-Jones long-term deal
Chelsea have secured the future of their attack by signing England forward Aggie Beever-Jones to a new contract that runs until the summer of 2030, the club announced in an official press release in London this afternoon.
The 22-year-old forward has already featured in 97 first‑team matches for Chelsea, finding the net 32 times. Her goal‑scoring record underlines her importance to the Blues’ attacking options.
A product of Chelsea’s academy, Beever-Jones rose through the youth ranks to become a regular in the senior side. She has collected two Barclays Women’s Super League crowns, two FA Cups and two League Cups during her time at the club.
Beever-Jones also represents England at senior level, adding international experience to her résumé. Her continued presence in the squad aligns with the club’s ambition to maintain a high‑performing, internationally recognised roster.
On signing the new deal, she said, “It feels great. Chelsea has been my club since I was a young girl, and that means a lot to me and my family.” She added that it was “a very proud day” and expressed excitement to “continue my journey and make more memories in blue.”
The announcement, released this afternoon, came ahead of the upcoming season, underscoring Chelsea’s proactive approach to retain key talent. By locking in Beever-Jones for eight more years, the Blues aim to ensure continuity in their forward line.
Chelsea indicated that additional squad announcements will follow in due course. The extended contract secures Beever-Jones’ services for the next decade, providing stability as the club plans its future campaigns.
