Tottenham secure Premier League survival on final day

Tottenham Hotspur secured Premier League survival with a 2-1 win over Manchester City on the final day of the 2025-26 season. The victory, combined with West Ham United's 3-2 loss to Arsenal, confirmed Tottenham's place in next season's top flight.

West Ham United were relegated after conceding a 90th-minute winner to Arsenal at the London Stadium. The loss marked West Ham's third relegation from the Premier League in the last decade.

Tottenham took the lead through Son Heung-min in the 23rd minute before Manchester City equalized through Erling Haaland in the 45th minute. Harry Kane scored the winner for Tottenham in the 87th minute.

West Ham's relegation was sealed despite a late fightback led by Declan Rice. Arsenal's goals came from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus, with West Ham's only reply through Jarrod Bowen.

The result ended Arsenal's hopes of finishing in the top four. Manchester City finished as champions with a 1-0 win over Liverpool earlier in the day.

Tottenham finish 15th in the table, seven points above the relegation zone.
