Premier League chase heats up as Soule’s agent lands in England
€35 million is the price tag Roma hopes to fetch for Argentine winger Matias Soulé, known as Soule, as his agent lands in England, sparking renewed Premier League interest from clubs eager to meet the deadline set by the Giallorossi in June for a July offer tied to a UEFA settlement.
Matias Soulé’s representative, Guastadisegno, has flown to England as Premier League clubs, notably Sunderland and Fulham, express interest. The Argentine winger’s agent is negotiating with both clubs, underscoring the Giallorossi’s intent to move the player.
Roma have placed a book value of approximately €15.5 million on the former Frosinone player. The club hopes a transfer fee around €35 million would generate a capital gain of €20‑21 million.

In June the Giallorossi instructed the agent to locate a Premier League club willing to submit an offer before the start of July. The deadline is linked to finalising a settlement agreement with UEFA. Guastadisegno told Corriere dello Sport on June 30: “I’ve received a lot of calls in recent weeks, I’ve spoken to several clubs, but no one has actually come forward, so we’re not going anywhere.” He added that Soulé is an asset to Roma and that rumors could harm the exemplary professional. The coming hours are crucial for Matias Soulé’s future as Roma await offers near the €35 million target. The situation highlights the broader market pressure on Premier League clubs to secure talent before the July deadline.
