Luton Town secures midfield boost with Kasey Palmer return
Jamaican midfielder Kasey Palmer, 29, is set to re‑join Luton Town on a permanent deal after a successful loan spell at the Kenilworth Road ground last season, ending his stint on Hull City’s books as the Hatters aim to reinforce their midfield options.
Palmer, a 29‑year‑old Jamaican midfielder, is currently on the books of Hull City. His contract with the Hull side will be terminated as part of the permanent move to Luton Town.
Last season, Palmer spent the campaign on loan at Luton Town, featuring at the club’s Kenilworth Road stadium. The loan spell was described as successful, prompting interest from the Hatters.
Luton Town pursued Palmer because his performances impressed during the loan period. The agreement will see him return to the club on a permanent basis.
The signing provides Luton Town with additional depth in midfield ahead of the upcoming season. Hull City will be left without the Jamaican international as they adjust their squad.
