Spanish full‑back Angelino has confirmed he will report to Roma’s Trigoria camp on 13 July, aiming to prove his worth to coach Gian Piero Gasperini, while Real Betis intensifies its pursuit of the 1997‑born defender, whose €10 million valuation and a looming 30 June deadline complicate any loan move.

The defender describes his previous campaign as difficult, noting that he spent more time on the sidelines than on the pitch. He hopes the upcoming pre‑season will reverse that trend.

Angelino plans to reach the Trigoria training camp on 13 July in peak condition. His objective is to persuade Gian Piero Gasperini that he can still contribute to Roma during the first phase of summer preparations.

The summer transfer window is expected to shape the club’s options for the full‑back. A decisive market outcome could determine whether Angelino remains in the capital.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Real Betis has shown growing interest in the 1997‑born player. The Andalusian side has accelerated talks in recent weeks and is reportedly exploring a loan arrangement.

Roma’s management, however, has not welcomed the loan proposal. Club officials remain reluctant to adopt temporary solutions at this stage of the market.

Roma regards Angelino as an asset worth monetising, including financially. With his current valuation around €10 million, the club appears unwilling to offer discounts before the 30 June deadline, aiming to retain firm control over outgoing deals.
