Napoli finalize Hojlund transfer from Man United for €50m

Napoli have agreed a permanent deal for Denmark striker Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United, finalizing a €50million transfer after his loan spell.

Hojlund joined Napoli on loan from Manchester United in January 2024, scoring five goals in 17 Serie A appearances during the campaign.

The permanent transfer includes a €50million fee, with potential add-ons bringing the total to €70million.

Napoli sporting director Cristiano Pasinato confirmed the club’s commitment to Hojlund’s development and attacking potential.

Hojlund, 21, becomes Napoli’s third major signing of the summer after the arrivals of midfielder Jesper Lindstrøm and defender Ousmane Diomande.

The Danish international’s permanent move aligns with Napoli’s strategy to bolster their attacking options under coach Francesco Calzona.
