Union star anan Khalaili nears Inter transfer

Anan Khalaili, the Union SG star, is nearing a top transfer to Inter. The Italian club is set to accelerate negotiations with Union SG and plans direct talks to finalize the deal. Khalaili has arrived in Milan for medical tests, bringing his transfer to the Italian top club into the final stretch.

Union had already reached a principle agreement over the transfer, but is waiting for official documents to complete the deal, 21-year-old Israeli has reportedly agreed to a contract until 2031, with an annual salary of around 1.8 million euros.

Inter is attempting to finalize the transfer for a total of around 28 million euros, including bonuses. Fabrizio Romano also a meeting with Union is planned to make progress.

Khalaili had reportedly agreed to personal terms with Inter, as well as Napoli. He was also linked to Como and Tottenham, but now seems set to join Inter.

The transfer could be highly lucrative for Union, who signed Khalaili from Maccabi Haifa for around 6.5 million euros in 2024. Since then, he has played 99 games for Union, scoring eight goals and providing eleven assists. His current market value is estimated at 23 million euros by Transfermarkt.

Khalaili is still under contract until 2028, but a bid nearing 28 million euros would be difficult for Union to ignore. The upcoming talks will determine if Inter meets Union's conditions, and if the player will become an obstacle.
