Napoli eyes Ricardo Pepi with €30m bid if Lukaku, Lucca depart
Napoli have signalled serious interest in PSV’s American striker Ricardo Pepi, stating they would table a €30 million offer should they manage to offload Romelu Lukaku and former Ajax forward Lorenzo Lucca, according to Napoli‑watcher Fabio Cannavo on Radio Marte today.
Ricardo Pepi is known to be open to a transfer, a fact that has been public for some time. Last year a large move to Fulham collapsed twice, and Juventus is also listed among the clubs monitoring his situation.
Napoli have previously invested in PSV talent, paying roughly €25 million for Noa Lang and €50 million for Hirving Lozano in 2019. Those deals illustrate the Italian side’s willingness to spend significant sums on Dutch players.
Napoli have also expressed serious interest in PSV goalkeeper Matej Kovar. This pursuit shows the club’s broader recruitment strategy beyond the forward line.
Lazio have shown interest in the former Ajax striker, adding another potential suitor for Pepi. The competition suggests Napoli will aim to act swiftly.
If the sales of Lukaku and Lucca go through, Napoli are expected to move quickly on securing Pepi.
