Muharemovic in Demand

Newcastle United, Sunderland, Leeds United, and Bournemouth are all interested in signing Tarik Muharemovic, a defender for Sassuolo. The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has impressed in Serie A and at the 2026 World Cup, making him a highly sought-after player.

Muharemovic's performances have led to a €40m price tag, although Juventus, who have a 50% cut of the future sale fee, could potentially sign him for half that amount.

The 23-year-old defender was previously part of Juventus' youth academy before being sold to Sassuolo for €2m. Juventus are still undecided about whether to sign Muharemovic, giving the Premier League clubs an opportunity to make an offer.

According to Corriere dello Sport and transfer pundit Alfredo Pedullà, Newcastle United, Sunderland, Leeds United, and Bournemouth are all ready to make a €40m offer for Muharemovic.
