Mbappé hits back at Paraguayan senator’s racist remarks: 'Woman unworthy of her office'
Kylian Mbappé has publicly condemned Paraguayan senator Celeste Amarilla after her racist remarks following France’s World Cup victory over Paraguay.
In a post on X, Amarilla described Mbappé as a brute who “hasn’t even learned to write,” adding that instead of breastfeeding he grew up sucking on coconuts and claimed the most developed beings he had ever heard of were chimpanzees.
Amarilla later expanded her comments on Facebook, calling Mbappé a “colonised Cameroonian” trying hard to appear French and suggesting the Paraguayan team should have slapped him after the match.
Mbappé responded directly on X, addressing Amarilla as “Madame Celeste Amarilla,” and labelled her a “verachtelijke vrouw” unworthy of her position.
