Le Club de Bruges steps up pursuit of Swiss striker Andrej Vasovic

🇧🇪 By 4All Football Editorial ·

Le Club de Bruges has been trying for several weeks to persuade FC Lucerne to release its 18‑year‑old Swiss striker Andrej Vasovic, a 1.87 m forward whose contract runs to 2030 and whose market value is estimated at €1.5 million. The club sees him as a high‑potential prospect for the Belgian champions.

The champions of Belgium view the youngster as a profile with enormous potential. Two weeks ago, Switzerland announced that the Club de Bruges officials had been seduced by Vasovic's profile, noting his Serbian origin.

Vasovic had previously shone at the club of the Golden Shoe, Ardon Jashari, before his transfer to the Venice of the North. Those moves underline his rapid rise through the Swiss league.

Frick’s endorsement highlights the forward’s instinctual goal‑scoring ability.

The 18‑year‑old featured in 22 league matches last season, scoring six goals, and has extended his contract with Lucerne until 2030, with a Transfermarkt valuation of €1.5 million. Sacha Tavolieri confirmed that the Belgian side remains determined to close the deal.

Le Club de Bruges continues to press FC Lucerne as the summer window approaches, hoping to secure the forward before the next season. The Belgian champions are keen to add Vasovic’s potential to their attacking options.
