Eilidh Shore leaves Hearts for Bristol City in two-year deal
Bristol City have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Eilidh Shore on a two-year deal. The Robins announced the news via an official club website post earlier today. The 24-year-old arrives from Scottish Women’s Premier League (SWPL) champions Hearts.
Shore joins Bristol City after spending just one season with Hearts. She moved to The Jambos from Aberdeen in summer 2024 and helped the Edinburgh side win their first-ever league title in 2025/2026. Before joining Hearts, Shore spent five years in Aberdeen’s senior team.
On the international stage, Shore has represented Scotland at youth levels up to Under-23 level. She has yet to make her senior debut for The Tartan Army. Her arrival at Bristol City marks her first senior club move outside Scotland.
Speaking after finalising her transfer, Shore said: “It feels amazing to finally be here and get the deal over the line. I’m really looking forward to meeting the girls and just getting going. The facilities here are amazing, from the pitches to the gym; it’s just top quality here, and I’m really excited to get started.”
Shore is Bristol City’s first signing of the summer transfer window. The Robins are targeting promotion back to the Barclays Women’s Super League at the earliest opportunity and are expected to remain active in the market this summer.
