Barcelona’s pursuit of Eli Junior Kroupi stalls amid agent’s delay

🇪🇸 By 4All Football Editorial ·

Eli Junior Kroupi’s future remains in limbo as his agent Moussa Sissoko told SPORT that, despite Barcelona’s keen interest, no final decision has been reached and no negotiations are under way with the Catalan club, while rumours also link Tottenham and other European suitors but his camp stays undecided.

The Barcelona news follows the highly‑rated forward emerging as one of the club’s attacking options as they continue to assess the market for a new centre‑forward. Julian Alvarez is still considered Barcelona’s preferred target but a difficult deal to complete, so the Catalan side is also exploring alternatives. The club remains open to other options as they weigh the market.

Kroupi’s impressive rise at Bournemouth has attracted attention from several European clubs, and his performances in the Premier League have been highlighted as a key factor in the growing interest.

Speaking to 365Scores, the agent said: “We are still discussing his future. We’ll see what happens over the next few days; for the time being, no final decision has been made.” Sissoko’s comments underline that the striker’s camp remains undecided.
