Tottenham’s summer hunt turns to Norway’s World Cup winger Nusa

Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up a summer move for RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa as they look to bolster their attack.

According to Sports View, the club are casting the net wide in attack and Nusa is the latest name under serious consideration. Roberto De Zerbi is targeting a player who can add pace, unpredictability and depth in the final third.

The report highlights Nusa’s strengths: dribbling, playing through balls and shooting from distance. These attributes could give Spurs tactical flexibility across the front line.

Nusa is a 21-year-old Norway international who has enhanced his reputation on the World Cup stage. He helped Norway knock Brazil out and now heads into a quarter-final against England. The forward has one goal in five World Cup appearances, but raw output is only part of the story.

His versatility is a key asset. Primarily a left winger, Nusa can also operate on the right or through the middle. Last season, he scored five goals and provided four assists in 35 games. In 2024-25, he posted five goals and eight assists in 35 appearances.

Tottenham have already made several arrivals this summer. Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali have joined in midfield, while Martin Dubravka, Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Jan Paul van Hecke have strengthened the defence. That leaves attack as the obvious next area.

Other attacking targets, such as Rafael Leao and Savinho, are also mentioned, indicating Spurs are exploring different profiles and price points. Nusa may not be the glamour pick, but there is logic to the link.
