Arsenal claim Premier League trophy at Selhurst Park
Arsenal lifted the Premier League trophy on Sunday at Selhurst Park. Mikel Arteta's side secured the title with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace.
The win marked Arsenal's first league title since 2004. Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice scored the goals for the Gunners. Saka opened the scoring in the 14th minute.
Rice doubled the lead in the 54th minute with a header. Palace pulled one back through Jordan Ayew in the 76th minute. Arsenal held on to seal the victory.
Arteta's team finished the season with 90 points, one ahead of second-placed Manchester City. Their title triumph ended a 22-year drought in English top-flight football.
Thomas Partey made a late appearance as a substitute for Arsenal. Crystal Palace ended the match with nine men after red cards for Joachim Andersen and Cheick Doucouré.
Arsenal's trophy presentation took place on the pitch immediately after the final whistle. The Gunners celebrated in front of their travelling supporters.
