Santiago Gimenez praises Milan fans, cites Kaká

Santiago Gimenez told Billboard Italia that he feels a strong bond with Milan ahead of the 2026 World Cup. He discussed the connection while sitting with rapper and Milan supporter Ernia.

Gimenez described San Siro as one of football’s most historic stadiums. He added that the Milan supporters back the team from the first to the ninetieth minute and beyond the match.

He recalled supporting Milan since childhood and said playing at San Siro holds great personal meaning. He noted that despite a debut season that fell short of his expectations, the fans have treated him like family and continued to trust him. Gimenez remembered his first San Siro goal against his former club Feyenoord in the Champions League, describing the emotions as intense.

Gimenez also highlighted his 1-0 goal in the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa Round of 16 on September 23, 2025, at Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. When asked which Milan player inspired him most, he named Kaká, citing lifelong admiration.
