Samir Nasri Skips Budapest, Works from Paris After PSG Ultras Abuse

🇩🇪 28 May 2026

Samir Nasri will not travel to Budapest to serve as a Canal+ analyst for the Champions League final. He will remain in France and broadcast his commentary from the network’s Paris studio on Saturday.

Nasri was subjected to verbal abuse by PSG ultras in Munich during the Champions League semi‑final. The incident took place while he was covering the match for Canal+.

The semi‑final featured Paris Saint‑Germain against Arsenal and was staged in Munich. Nasri, a former Olympique de Marseille midfielder, was present in the stadium as a pundit.

Following the abuse, Nasri decided to stay in France instead of joining the on‑site panel in Budapest. He will provide his analysis remotely from Paris.

Canal+ confirmed that Nasri’s contributions will be delivered from its Paris headquarters. The broadcaster will continue its standard pre‑match and post‑match programming for the final.

The Champions League final will be held in Budapest on Saturday. The match will determine the season’s European champion.
