Fiorentina aim to loan Noa Lang from Napoli for 2024‑25
Fiorentina are close to securing a season‑long loan for Dutch forward Noa Lang from Napoli for the 2024‑25 campaign, La Nazione reported on Saturday. Lang, 27, returns to Napoli this summer after a six‑month spell at Galatasaray, where he featured in 13 Süper Lig matches.
Lang's contract with Napoli runs until mid‑2030. He spent the previous season on loan after the arrangement did not work out with coach Antonio Conte.
Antonio Conte has now left Napoli. Italian media indicate the club is preparing to appoint Max Allegri as his successor.
Whether Allegri will include Lang in his plans is still unknown, a decision expected shortly. Fiorentina, who narrowly avoided relegation in Serie A, are watching the development closely.
Fiorentina are targeting a loan deal with Napoli for Lang. The newspaper adds that a permanent transfer cannot be ruled out.
During his spell at Galatasaray, Lang made 13 Süper Lig appearances without scoring. He contributed three assists in those matches.
Lang previously represented PSV, Club Brugge and Ajax. He is currently part of the Netherlands squad at the World Cup.
