€4m price barrier keeps Adamo Nagalo at PSV despite Konyaspor interest

At Konyaspor’s training complex, the Turkish side’s renewed chase for PSV Eindhoven’s 23‑year‑old defender Adamo Nagalo stalls over a €4 million price tag, even though PSV originally invested €7 million in the Burkinabe two seasons ago and he has yet to cement a place in the first‑team, having logged only 320 minutes across 12 appearances.

Konyaspor has made a concrete bid for Nagalo, but the Turkish Süper Lig club is unwilling to meet PSV’s €4 million asking price. The interest was noted on Saturday evening.

PSV Eindhoven, the Dutch champions, set the transfer fee at €4 million for the 23‑year‑old defender. The price reflects the club’s valuation after two years since the initial purchase.

Two seasons ago PSV paid €7 million to FC Nordsjaelland to acquire Nagalo from the Danish side. The Burkinabe defender arrived with high expectations but struggled to break into the first team.

During his time at PSV, Nagalo made twelve official first‑team appearances, totaling 320 minutes in the Eredivisie, Champions League and KNVB Cup. He never secured a regular starting role.

Last season PSV loaned the stopper to Konyaspor, giving the Turkish side a chance to evaluate him. Konyaspor now hopes to sign him permanently.

It remains unclear whether Nagalo himself wishes to leave Eindhoven on a permanent deal. He is expected to report for his first training of the new season on Monday 29 June.

The stalled negotiation highlights PSV’s challenge of recouping a €7 million investment while Konyaspor navigates its budget constraints in the Süper Lig. Both clubs must decide how the defender’s future will shape their squad plans.
