Chelsea Target Al-Hilal Forward Darwin Nunez

Chelsea are linked with Al-Hilal forward Darwin Nunez. Newcastle United are also reported to be interested in the Uruguay international.

Nunez recorded nine goals and five assists in 24 matches for Al-Hilal last season. The appearances covered multiple competitions in the Saudi Pro League. He is 26 years old and under contract with Al-Hilal until 2028.

Nunez possesses pace that can trouble defenders in the final third. He primarily plays as a centre‑forward but can also operate on the left. His previous Premier League experience at Liverpool should ease his adaptation at Chelsea.

Xabi Alonso’s side would gain additional firepower from Nunez’s arrival. The Uruguayan striker is entering his peak years, offering regular first‑team potential.
